Minn-Dak Gives Promotions

David H. Roche, president and CEO of Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative announced the promotions of Jeff Carlson as vice president of operations and John Haugen as vice president of engineering.

The Wahpeton, ND-based sugarbeet co-op information office reported that Carlson would begin his duties on Sept. 3 upon the retirement of Rich Richter, vice president of operations.

Haugen joined Minn-Dak as assistant engineer in 1976. He was promoted to senior engineer in 1995 and director of engineering in November of 2001.

Carlson joined Minn-Dak as director of technical services in 1990. Prior to that, he was employed as a research chemist in the environmental laboratory at Bionics in Port Orchard, WA.
