University of Idaho's Potato Variety Development program will hold a Selection Committee meeting Thursday, Feb.21, to get feedback on selection releases and program direction.
Seed growers and others interested are invited for the 11 a.m. start to hear Tom Salaiz give a presentation on the release of A84118-3 and its potential marketing advantage.
During the meeting, to be chaired by Stephen Love, those attending will be polled on the direction the breeding program should be headed; shown and given information on selections and new releases, and asked about seed availability.
The meeting will be held at the Aberdeen Research and Extension Center located in Aberdeen, ID, and will include a lunch at noon.
