ANTIGO, Wis.—The Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association (WPVGA) has launched the first in a series of six videos featuring Wisconsin native, and three-time Olympian, Suzy Favor Hamilton cooking some of her favorite Wisconsin potato recipes.

In the videos, Suzy—the Wisconsin Potatoes Spokesperson—covers a variety of topics of interest to consumers—from the best way to prepare potatoes and recipe shortcuts, to health and nutrition information.

A native of Stevens Point, Wis, Favor Hamilton won eleven state titles in high school, is the winningest female collegiate athlete at the University of Wisconsin, won nine NCAA championships and was named the Big Ten Athlete of the Decade in the 90s. She also won seven U.S. National Championships.

Each of the videos will be launched over the next six months to coincide with seasonal events. The videos will be launched at www.eatwisconsinpotatoes.com; they will also be featured on the Eat Wisconsin Potatoes Facebook page and the Wisconsin Potatoes YouTube channel.
