Ostara’s Crystal Green Nutrients Division, producers of Crystal Green continuous-release, root-activated fertilizer, has announced the appointment of Scott Barclay as technical sales manager for the western U.S. region. Barclay will lead strategic business development and sales of Crystal Green, working with agriculture retailers, consultants and growers.

Barclay has more than 20 years of experience in the agriculture industry throughout the value chain including in the grower, retailer and manufacturer sectors. He is a certified crop advisor and has worked as an agronomist, crop advisor and territory sales manager, having been closely aligned with multiple growers throughout southern Idaho, as well as retail distributors in Idaho, Utah and Nevada. Barclay grew up in southeastern Idaho and has a bachelor of crop and soil science degree from Brigham Young University.
