It has been brought to our attention that “housing companies” have been contacting previous Potato Expo exhibitors offering discounted room rates at The Mirage in Las Vegas over the dates of Potato Expo 2016. These housing companies are scam artists and are referred to as “Housing Pirates.” DO NOT RESPOND OR PROVIDE THEM ANY FINANCIAL INFORMATION. While they may offer a lower rate, they will end up adding on fees and you will ultimately pay more, or end up without a legitimate reservation.
If you receive a phone call regarding rooms in Las Vegas, direct them to our office, (202) 682-9456. Also, forward copies of any emails you receive regarding reservations to questions@potato-expo.com. Most importantly, DO NOT book reservations through any other company or representative claiming to represent Potato Expo.
The Mirage is the headquarters hotel for the Potato Expo 2016. Reservations should be made directly with The Mirage.
