Late blight has been confirmed Tuesday in Idaho.
The field is located in central Bingham County. The current recommendation is to scout fields located in Eastern Idaho. Be sure to scout areas of the field that stay wet longer, such as center towers and along wheel tracks where water accumulates and persists.
A fungicide application is recommended if one hasn't been applied recently. Stay on a seven-day fungicide application schedule through vine kill.
Submit suspected late blight samples to University of Idaho or to Miller Research for positive confirmation.
