DESICCANT Aim EC: Aim EC Herbicide, from FMC Corporation, is a standard for complete vine desiccation, providing excellent leaf and stem kill at optimal speed. Aim herbicide provides late-season control of Eastern Black Nightshade. Its unique mode of action allows more time for nutrients to move into the tuber, and for the tuber to release from the stolon, providing more uniform tuber size at harvest and possibly reducing stem-end browning. Aim herbicide can be applied alone once or in sequential application on fresh market, storage and seed potatoes.

Gowan Company, LLC

Eptam: Eptam 7E selective herbicide has been an invaluable tool for growers across the U.S. by delivering safe and effective weed control in more than 15 different crops, including potatoes. Eptam is active on a broad spectrum of grasses and small seeded broadleaf weeds. As weed resistance to herbicides continues to grow across more weed species and cropping geographies, growers need to be increasingly aware of herbicide chemistries used on their farms. Eptam is a thiocarbamate herbicide (Group 8) and works by disrupting the normal growth of weed seedlings as they germinate in the soil profile. Eptam has proven to be effective on some of the most difficult to control weed species and demonstrates excellent crop safety.

Shadow: Shadow Herbicide is a proven, post-emergent herbicide that controls all the toughest annual and perennial grassy weeds in several broadleaf crops, including potatoes.

Broadleaf crops such as potatoes are poor weed competitors in the seedling stage. Shadow Herbicide from Arysta LifeScience North America gives them the best possible start against weeds. Shadow includes the genuine Clethodim active ingredient, which growers have come to trust over the past 10 years. The quality formulation of Shadow offers many tank-mix options for broad-spectrum weed control, with a wide window of application for easy timing.

Solida Herbicide

Solida: Solida Herbicide provides excellent control of a broad range of grass and broadleaf weeds in potatoes and potatoes grown for seed. Solida is a water-dispersible granular formulation of the active ingredient rimsulfuron for both pre-emergence and post-emergence applications with residual activity. The best post-emergence application is obtained when Solida is applied to young, actively growing weeds. Solida is an excellent tank-mix partner for other labeled crop protection products, including Koverall Fungicide and when tank-mixed with other labeled residual herbicides, will extend and broaden the spectrum of weed control.

Syngenta Crop Protection

Sequence: Sequence herbicide is a foliar, systemic herbicide that may be applied to control a broad spectrum of emerged weeds. It also provides residual control of many grasses and small-seeded broadleaf weeds, including bristly starbur, common lambsquarters, eastern black nightshade, fall panicum, foxtails, johnsongrass, pigweed and velvetleaf, among others.

Gramoxone SL 2.0 herbicide
Gramoxone SL 2.0 herbicide

Gramoxone SL 2.0: Gramoxone SL 2.0 herbicide provides fast burn-down control of most annual grasses and broadleaf weeds on a variety of crops including potatoes. Gramoxone SL 2.0 provides broad-spectrum control on difficult-to-control weeds, including those that glyphosate can leave behind. Ideal for burndown, floor management in perennial crops and as a harvest aid, this contact herbicide controls annual and perennial weeds.

Reglone herbicide
Reglone herbicide

DESICCANT Reglone: Reglone is a nonvolatile herbicide for use as a pre-harvest aid to desiccate certain crops in order to facilitate harvesting. Reglone is also recommended for use as a general herbicide to control weeds in non-crop areas and non-bearing crops. Reglone is an easy-to-use liquid that can be applied with ground or aerial equipment. Within hours of application, fast-acting Reglone is absorbed into green plant tissue-where rain can't wash it off. In addition to desiccating green crop matter, it also dries broadleaf weeds and grasses that it contacts.

Stalwart MTZ herbicide

SipcamAdvan

Stalwart MTZ: Stalwart MTZ is a valuable new herbicide generating powerful results when applied to potatoes during the critical early-season window. By shutting down even the most resistant weeds like waterhemp and pigweed during the germination stage, Stalwart MTZ protects potatoes from competition for moisture, light and nutrients. Powered by two proven chemistries-metolachlor and metribuzin-Stalwart MTZ comes in a pre-mix that is easy to apply. Early weed control on the front end broadens growers' post application window, allowing greater flexibility for a second herbicide application.
