Smart Irrigation Month is a public awareness campaign developed by the Irrigation Association (IA) to promote efficient water use and highlights effective irrigation practices and innovative technologies to increase crop yield per acre, apply water and nutrients more precisely for better results with limited waste, minimize runoff and top soil erosion and help protect and preserve water supplies for today and the future.
