ST. PAUL, Minn.-In light of the recent confirmation of zebra
chip in Idaho, Focus on Potato, a nonprofit potato crop management resource,
has made open access its presentation on Zebra Chip Disease of Potatoes by Gary
Secor of North Dakota State University.

This presentation offers an overview of this new disease of potatoes, which has
become important in the Southwestern, Midwest, and now Pacific Northwest regions
of the U.S. since its discovery in the mid-1990's.

The presentation will help educate growers, consultants, practitioners and allied
industry personnel identify and understand the basic aspects of zebra chip. The
presentation contains numerous color photos of disease symptoms, explains the
field aspects including host range, pathogen and vector, and management practices
that will help users manage this disease.

This webcast will be open access through January 31, 2012. View the presentation
