Cost sharing, uniformity among topics at Idaho Irrigation Equipment Association show

IrrigationThe Idaho Irrigation Equipment Association held its annual show Jan. 8, at the Shilo Inn in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Various irrigation and power companies hosted booths for the event.

Attendees were able to receive continuing education credit with the Irrigation Association at a number of the presentations.

Idaho Power Co., Rocky Mountain Power and Bonneville Power Administration sent representatives to explain their cost sharing and loan programs for the 2009 season.

During one of the sessions, William Bohl and Howard Neibling of the University of Idaho discussed the benefits of uniformity in irrigation.

Other speakers gave presentations on topics such as chemicals, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and pump selection.
