Idaho's Moss Chosen To Head NPC

Declo, ID, grower Dan Moss was chosen to succeed Keith Masser of Sacramento, PA, as new president of the National Potato Council at its annual meeting held this year at Marco Island, FL.

Moss, who has previously served on the Executive Committee as Vice President of Trade Affairs, will have his hands full based on the many challenges facing the industry.

Richard Polatis, a Blackfoot, ID, grower went on the Executive Committee, filling Moss' vacated position.

Jim Wysocki, Bancroft, WI, grower/shipper, took over the Legislative and Governmental Affairs vice president's position. Rounding out the newcomers is Roger Mix, Center, CO, who was selected to take over Finance and Office Procedures.

Remaining on the Exec Committee in their same positions will be Don Sklarczyk, Johannesburg, MI, Vice President of Enviromental Affairs; Dan Elmore, Othello, WA, Vice President of Grower and Public Relations, and Masser who takes the Immediate Past President's position.
