Ozone's Use In Food Industry Grows

Growth of the use of ozone as an antimicrobial agent in the food and agricultural industries is continuing.

Because of this, the fourth annual Ozone IV Conference will be held March 2-4 at the Radisson Hotel in Fresno, CA.

The conference will be presented by G and L AgriTech in conjunction with the International Ozone Association, with primary sponsorship and support from Fresno State University and the Department of Food Science and Nutrition.

Over 200 atendees are expected to hear reports from researchers, end users and primary manufacturers of ozone systems.

The Ozone IV program presentations, focuing on the antimicrobial efficacy of ozone in food process and agricultural applications will concentrate on the following categories: air, soil and water treatment, water reuse,case studies, current research, in-field testing, product developments, food safety and quality, system design practices, O3Synergy and regulatory status.
