Idaho Falls, ID, will host a training mission for importers and distributors from China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Mexico beginning Sunday, October 3.
Hosted by the Untied States Potato Board, the training programs will assist interentional buyers to use U.S. dehy potato products during the week-long event.
However, the USPB says that because of the great awarness that has been created, limited local supplies have proven to be a large barrier to actual purchases being made.
The training will educate importers and distributors of the benefits and opportunities to supply dehy to their countries.
Additionally, they will have a chance to meet all U.S. dehy processors to set up future trading relationships.
