Colorado Readies For Seed Seminar

Registration forms to attend the annual National Potato Council Seed Seminar in Colorado Springs, CO, were in the mail this week.

The Colorado Potato Administration Committee will host the event to take place at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO, December 9-11.

Prior to the start of the seed seminar, the United States Promotion Board will host a Potato Industry Outlook Summit. The Outlook Summit will review the current supply/demand situation and provide useful information that will be a useful tool in determining how to market the remainder of the 2004 crop.

Reservations are also being taken by the host hotel by calling (800) 634-7711. The discounted group room rate has been set at $134.
 
Colorado Springs has its own regional airport and is served by major carriers. Shuttle service to the hotel is available.

The Outlook Summit begins at 7 a.m. on Thursday, December 9. Those registering for both the Summit and Seed Seminar will get discounts. Early registration for both will be $350 by October 15. After that date it will jump to $475.
