Growers and crop consultants can stay atop ever-changing disease pressure thanks to North Dakota State University and Dow AgroSciences.

The Late Blight Forecast Flash service delivers late blight disease severity values straight from the Plant Pathology Department of NDSU.

Each fax flash includes the most up-to-date cumulative severity maps showing two-day accumulations and seasonal totals where avaialble.

Dow AgroSciences--the manufacturers of Dithane and Gavel fungicides--in cooperation with NDSU will provide the free fax service through harvest. The information will also be availabe at http://ndawn.ndsu.nodak.edu/application/potatoes.html.
