CSS Farms, Frito-Lay's largest supplier of chipping potatoes in North America, is advertising for an assistant manager for its brand new minituber production facility in Colorado City, CO.
This is a new state-of-the-art green house, laboratory and cold storage facility designed to produce three million minitubers per year utiliziing nutrient film technology.
CSS Farms is a fast growing company, with operations in seven states--Nebraska, Texas, Florida, California, Nevada, Colorado and South Dakota--and the Dominican Republic.
The Colorado minituber facility can easily be expanded to produce six million minitubers per year. Marketing plans are in place to facilitate that expansion.
The minituber production operation was moved out of northern Wisconsin last year to the more centrally located Colorado location. It is about 25 miles south of Pueblo, CO.
