AGCO Corporation of Duluth, GA, announces the appointment of Martin Richenhagen as new president and CEO. He replaces Robert J. Ratliff who will remain as chairman of the Board of Directors.

Richenhagen has substantial managerial and marketring experience in the company's largest market (Europe).

No stranger to agriculture, Richenhagaen served as group president of Claas KgaA mbH, a major farm equipment manufacturer and distributor located in Germany. He was there from 1998 to 2003.

While at Claas, he focused primarily on sales and marketing and was instrumental in developing cooperation between Claas and Caterpillar in North America and Europe.

AGCO is a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of agriculture equipment and replacement parts.
