The harmless V. Tenerum pest has officially been removed from the South Korean government's list of quarantine pests.

Although this announcement was made in recent days, it is expected to take up to six months for the pest to officially be removed from the list.

The Korean government made the announcement following its completion of domestic industry research that verified the existence of V. tenerum in Korea.

Some shipments may still be held in quarantine because of Verticillium finds.
