Potato Growers from throughout the United States and Canada are expected in Pocatello ID, for the annual University of Idaho Potato Conference, Trade Show and Expo.

Each year U of I organizers say attendance increases as growers try to get cutting-edge information from one of the most potato-savy states in the United States.

In connection with the Conference, there will be a Trade Show and Expo, with dealers and vendors set up in the student union building on the campus of Idaho State University and in Holt Arena.

The conference starts Wednesday and concludes at noon on Thursday. The Expo starts Tuesday and runs through Thursday. For information contact (208) 529-8376.

Other conferences will be held in Stevens Point, WI, Jan. 27-29, sponsored by the Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association; Gleneden Beach, OR, Jan. 29-30, sponsored by the Oregon Potato Commission, and at Moses Lake, WA, Feb. 3-5, sponsored by the Washington State Potato Commission.
