China's host committee has indicated that the rescheduled World Potato Congress is tentatively set for the last week of March 2004.

The Congress, postponed last April when the SARS virus became a worldwide threat to travelers, just needs approval from the government.

The host committee has been waiting out the SARS threat before making secondary plans.

According to Lloyd Palmer, president, the committee will make refunds to those asking for them but hopes attendees will hold off making refund requests until the date is confirmed.

Those with questions can contact Palmer at info@potatocongress.org.
